How to check a radon contractor before you hire one
Reviews on a company's own website are chosen by that company, including these. Treat them as a starting point rather than as evidence, and verify the things that can actually be verified.
Colorado has required radon professionals to be licensed since 1 July 2022, separately for measurement and for mitigation. Ours are RME.0000760 (measurement) and RMT.0000360 (mitigation), alongside NRPP certifications 116099-RMP and 116070-RMS. All four are checkable on the public NRPP listing — not just ours, anyone's.
Then ask for a written post-mitigation verification test as part of the quote, and ask to see photographs of real installations on a house like yours. A contractor who will not produce either is telling you something.
